Hello,

I took a baby chick that was born with no eyes home and it is not eating well. She will drink water but I don't see her eat often. I want to hand feed her but I am unable to see down her throat to feed her. If someone near Temecula CA has done this before and wants a cute baby chick let me know. Going to try a wet mash right now. Any info would be great. I have two Legbars that are just fine and easy but I am still very new to chickens.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Oh gosh, I am so sorry! You might stop by this thread on Special Needs chickens, someone there may be dealing with a blind chick... https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...cial-needs-chickens-and-their-keepers.628361/

I have heard of folks using the sound of running water to attract them to water and keeping sprinkled food on the floor at the base of this water so they can find food.

Good luck with your chick!
