Today, someone dumped beans and the ducks were eating it in a different spot at the lake. I tasted one to make sure it was cooked. People think ducks are like chickens and can and will eat all their scraps with no consequences. I see all kinds of junk dropped off there. Some of it I've thrown out because it was very bad for all the animals there. These people tell me the ducks will know if it's not good for them. Yeah, right.

Darlene, please be careful tasting food like that. My ducks like beans but I've read they aren't good.

It's not something I usually do, just wanted to make sure it was cooked. First time I've done that and it was only a tiny bit.
