I'm getting baby ducklings in the mail next week and was wondering if I could hang a baby bottle in their brooder? I could hang it a way that it wouldn't leak, but was wondering if they would get enough water out of it?

Ducks don't use baby bottles.

I have one of those small cat bowls that I've used for chicks, but won't they jump in it and make a mess in they're brooder?
How many are you getting ? We used a quart bottle with a rim from Tractor Supply. They could dunk their bills in it and they would waste a lot, but I imagine much less waste than an open bowl . The bottle would last about 8 hours for our 9 ducklings the first couple weeks. Later, we had to get a second one and by the 4th week, we had to use the three gallon one we bought for the coup/run.
