Do you guys know how many mini Rex does can live in this cage while being happy? 2-5? Breeding does 1-2 litters a year, no more. Separate cage when pregnant. But how many to this ONE cage?

If those mini's are full grown I would say 3.

The more cramped the more they fight! So well you might be able to do 4 I wouldn't do more than 3... also get them young so they grow up together and are more likely to get along for colony style housing.

To be comfortable I would say 2 but as was stated above get them young and raise them together. Will you have an outside run so they can get some exercise and fresh grass? If that is your intent I would say 3 per cage. Best of luck.

Ok thanks and yes they would get a run and the does in the photos are full grown.

They look so tiny in that cage. I'm glad to hear that you also have a rabbit run. I will have 2 can't let those bucks at my does again lol..:/

Lol. I'm not using the cage yet. Those girls have a outside cage being made right now. That cage will be for my futur does( next 6months-1 year I will get me more) the cage was only $44. I'm gunna get 2-3 more. Hoping for 5-9 more mini Rex does( all 8-9 week olds) ol. Call me crazy, cuz I am. Lol

Wow 44.00!! Do you have animal auctions or animal swaps in Kansas? In Wisconsin we pick up rabbit cages for 6-10 bucks at actions/swaps. Obviously if they are good quality and what you prefer then don't stray from what you know works. Aren't our animals ridiculously expensive? I love all of mine though except that one mean old rooster ho spurred me (grandma ate him) lol
