Wow spooky! That really stinks! It was a family member wasn't it? Good thing your buttons are there to cheer you up!!

LilRalphieRoosMama~~~ What in the world do you do with your baby buttons? I am pretty much planning on using any eggs I get for food, unless I can sell some of the eggs. I have no intentions of setting any in the bator! I think 16 buttons is enough for me!

Well, I'm a button-holic which is why I hang out here on BYC

Actually, I had an order for 5 chicks but my hatches have been really bad. If I set 20 eggs, I might get 3. I think it was the humidity, so I'm still learning and upped it this time. I had so many eggs that I couldn't just toss them. Had to try. Will let you know on Friday/Saturday how it turns out!

Too bad you all don't live closer; I'd share

That Guy thinks I wasted a chance to be a millionaire. If I'd just thought, "Now is when I'll win the lottery.." I'd be all set. I told him the universe doesn't like me that much.

This might be a funny experience (and it may still be funny later when things get better for you because I believe they will theres always sun shine behind those clouds kinda thing he he) but I feel so bad for ya theres no room to think its' funny. They say when it rains it pours...and that is apparently true...and it sucks! I know all too well about insurance and painkillers, my poor mom fights with her insurance co. all the time, and sometimes they even charge her full on meds they were to pay for....its a lot of rediculous hassle no one needs. I dont know what prescriptions are like in canada but supposedly the hospital/doc care is free.....wish it could be like that here....too much stress and a bad time of the year to deal with it. I'm praying/hoping things get better for you right quick!!!

It'll get better. This week has been awful, so it has to get better, and next weekend, I'll have a house full of BYC'ers and birdies, so I'm just.. looking forward.

And the insurance thing really sucked. I had to get my doc to call them and tell them that no, I'm NOT a drug seeker and don't even take as many narcotics as I should take, because an unscheduled refill is in violation of my pain contract and the insurance was going to stop paying for them altogether forever.

So they made me pay $360 out of pocket for a 1 month supply to last me until the refill.

Canada has social health care, but you have to wait forever to get to see a doctor, and forget it if you need tests or surgery. My mum's Canadian and moved to the states so she could get better access to healthcare, even if she had to pay for it.

Thanks, though. Tonight's just been really awful. I am currently laying on a towel on my bed with a dozen little peepers zooming all over me.
