Baby Buttons and Coturnix~~ My Dec. 2 hatch~Pics added

I had a silkie for a while as a teen. Long story, but we borrowed her. I remember she used to follow my dad around the yard and he loved her. He was sad to see her returned.

But my housing is such that I would want to keep chicken and quail next to each other so that's not really bio-safe. Possible, but I don't want to risk it. So the silkies will stay in my dreams. Unless I can convince hubby to build something outside... (I'll keep dreaming...haha!)

This is a silly question, but do silky roos sound the same as normal chickens when they crow? They look so unusual, a silky hen could barely pass as a chicken under all that fluff.

Yeah the roosters are just as noisy and annoying as other roosters lol

I love to hear my roosters crow, I live outside of town so they dont bother anybody so they can crow their lil heads off lol

They are sweeties. I have 2 others a few weeks older from another member here, a Serama a few weeks old and an EE also from Quaillady who is 8 weeks now. She's a sweetheart and still in the house. Need to get coups made after the Holidays.

This morning I drug out my Roux Dilute Cot, and a brown, plopped them on the puter desk while hubby was here using it.
They kept getting on the key board and messing him up. LOL!

I'm keeping the Roux, so she needs socialized.

They are! But what colors of A=dorable are they? lol...

I was just looking at the buttons.. Wow the colors they come in are amazing. I need to figure out a way to get them to sit still so I can take a pic!
I'm not sure I can get them "boxed" like nurse-turtle did. lol...

I see some red breasteds, cinnamons, possibly some whites and silvers...I know you want silvers! tuxedos are a given. There is a Golden pearl.

Thanks... But we are wondering if the Middle silkie is a Blue or what it's called and is the other a black?. I wasn't going to make you crazy with the buttons till I got current pics.

Yes, I did want silver really bad and there are a few in there silver!

Several darling Tux's , one looks maybe wild pattern, one maybe cinnamon/fawn.
Some wild patterns, some white, and one wild with a white wing just the edge flight feather.. so cute!

And a few I'm really curious about!
