Baby chick angry (HELP!)

I don’t know what to do! whenever we picked Charlie up, he will just jump off. How am I gonna able to calm down Charlie? He is 4 month old!

Some chickens just don’t like being picked up. If Charlie is an overall nice chicken besides that ( social with chickens and humans, doesn’t try to attack the hens or his caretakers, etc.), then you are fine. Don’t force Charlie to be picked up if he doesn’t want to, it’ll just make him scared of you.

At 4 month of age he is a teenager already and will most likely have other interests...

I would not try to force-cuddle him which will only lead to him avoiding you even more.
