The boards that he used are also very lightweight so it's simple to move. I kinda thought at first it should have been more bigger / solid wood, but then he said it would also be a lot heavier to move. I'm sure it will be solid enough in that nothing will happen to it. It would hold a cat just fine if one jumped on top of it, just not one of my boys!

this is really wonderful for your chicks! I've seen people make these out of PVC pipe and fittings in the same shape and use zip ties to attach the wire on. It makes a great moveable run and I agree with the others-- don't put on a bottom.
