Baby chick can stand and leaning to one side

Hi there,
I have a baby chick that was born yesterday so is now one day old. The chick hatched with curled toes and I have taped them flat which has dramatically helped however the chick can’t stand up. It just sits on its bottom and often falls to the same side when trying to move. What do I do to help it? It’s left leg appears it not work.

Any swelling of the joints?

I would get 1/4 tablet B-Complex into the chick. I dissolve the tablet in a very small amount of water then give the chick several drops through out the day.

Hopefully this can be corrected and the chick will make it.

As you can see from the photo it’s left leg curls under and appears as though it cannot be bend at the ankle to allow standing. Instead the whole leg is rested on which is causing the chick to continue falling on its side

Can you feel it to see if the tendon is slipped? "Slipped Tendon"?
Sometimes that can be corrected, sometimes not.

I’m not very experienced but nothing seems to look or feel abnormal perhaps you could take a look I have attached a photo

I don't really see any redness or swelling of the joint.

You can try splinting the leg and placing her in a chick chair, see if she gathers strength and improves.
