My youngest baby chick has a problem, every time she poops It seems to take way more time then the rest sometimes even over 30 seconds what should I do?

I have had this happen with one of my baby Aracaunas. I'm not sure if it is similar to your situation but her bottom area would get large and swollen and slightly red looking. Per the advice of her breeder, I actually had to use a cutip and kind of "roll" it down her sides and towards the vent area to almost try and help her push the poo out. Sometimes rolling from the underneath of her belly and then towards the vent. Keep in mind the cutip never actually went into the vent, it was more lightly massaging/guiding the poo out from the outside... Had to do this on 2 or 3 separate occasions. The first time she had just a ton of poo built up. After the second or third time she was cleared out and I never had to do it again!

If this sounds similar to your situation, I hope it helps!!

Yep that sounds like pasty but. That’s usually the way I clear mine. Sometimes I have to hold a very slightly warm washrag against the butt to kind of loosen things up. Thankfully pasty but doesn’t last but the first week or two of life

Mine had that over the weekend! I gave her a few mealworms and chick grit and a few herbs from the garden; spearmint, sage, rosemary, lavender, oregano thyme. I washed her several times in warm water on her butt. And on advice of the forem here add coconut oil or Vaseline to her butt. She cleared up on her own!

im not too sure ive recently checked on her and put her in a empty coop to see if she can pass it naturally she has been eating tiny pieces of dirt alongside her food when i put her in the coop however i have not seen her poop yet ive been busy inside working.
Putting her alone may stress her out and make it worse.

I’ve never been able to have them pass it naturally. Maybe it can be done. But I know with being that little it doesn’t take pasty but doesn’t take long to get serious. How old is the chick
