baby chick dieing.....for a laugh maybe

as a first time baby chick owner/parent these things scare me to death haha. Earlier one was laying under the brooder light wing lifted up leg kinda out and breathing somewhat heavy, I automatically think the worst and not even 2 minutes later she is up and walking around. First time baby jitters I guess haha all laughs in the end but still keep you on edge sometimes

Wait until you see your grown hens dustbathing - they always look like they just expired in the dirt.

They do look like they are dead or dieing when they sunbathe or sleep lol. I remember warning my young son when I got him his first batch of chicks not to panic the first time they all passed out for a nap or decided to sun bake under the heat lamp. He still came and got me the first time he saw that just to make sure!
