Baby chick genders and breeds

Now onto the believed pullets, here is #1: Dottie. Her feathers are also crazy rn so just ignore that, but you can see just how much smaller her comb is then the two believe cockerels.

Believed pullet #2: kit/kiwi, she was the premie baby and is still a bit smaller than the others, but unlike all the other leghorn mixes who have green eyes, she has a green eye and a half green half brown eye which is pretty cool, although the shadow doesn’t show it well:( On the other eye she also has a birthmark on her waterline too.

I agree with you about genders.
No new guesses about parentage.
Thank you for your help! I think all 9 of the babies including the new four I’ve also posted are all the lavenders, they all have his comb. But the favorelle mixes are very perplexing to me. I think it’s so cool that they are a dark brown when the parents are grey and buff. The genes they passed on to make them is just fascinating to me. I’m excited to see what the look like when they grow up.

I agree that all are lavender orphington children. The reason why they are white is an entirely different gene, apart from feathered legs and shank color. Its because of the dominant white gene, which leghorns do have. That is the reason why the chicks are almost entirely white, but showing some leakage, which is normal if they only have one dominant white gene.

They also have non feathered legs, which is a dominant gene. Usually, the offspring of a feathered legged x non feathered legged ends up in offspring that are slightly feathered legged. Plus the single comb. If they were a brahma cross, several of them would have a modified pea comb.

Thank you! I get why the ones are white especially since the dad was a pretty pale lavender to begin with, but all three of the salmon favorelle mixed are brown which is what confuses me but is pretty cool. Here are the other two salmon babies
