Baby chick has hard bone like mass under vent

I have a 2 week old baby chick and she has a hard pointed bone like mass under her vent. I am new to this and I do not know what this is? Should I be concerned? She eats and drinks and keeps up with the other baby chicks just fine..

Could that be some poop that got stuck in the feathers and hardened (yes, dry chicken poop get really hard).
If it's that, soak the poop with warm water and remove it once it gets softer. Then dry the chick's bottom

That looks like hardened poop to me. You need to remove it...try washing it off.

Welcome to BYC! You might try using a little bit of coconut oil along with the bath. Make sure she is dry before putting her back in the brooder.
