Baby chick has something on its bottom

Baby chick was born this morning around 10. There has not been much improvement since then. Momma is not really taking care of baby either...upon bringing baby inside I noticed this soft kinda yellowish ball near the belly button. Baby chick hasnt opened its eyes, and cannot seem to hold up it's head, it does chirp and I have been able to give it some water to drink. What else can I do? Is there anything else or more I can do? TIA

Looks like the egg sac has not been absorbed.

it's coming out of its umbilicus not its vent. It's a hernia of some sort. You could try keeping it moist with some coconut oil or antibiotic cream, and hope it retracts.

You could try giving some electrolytes, just some. But im not sure if the chick will make it.
