BABY CHICK HELP PLEASE!!!!

Ok I need help my baby chick is the runt and not doing so great and another problem she had poop on her butt and she's bleeding a little now after I took it off she also spreads her legs apart a lot and is like always huddled down!! Is she gonna be ok

When you "pulled" the poop off, did you literally just PULL it off? You should always wet, wipe, wet, wipe and it will start to come off very easily without hurting the chick. Hope the little one makes it.

When I did it I did it genly

and it was wet it was just so stuck

I usually run their little butts under a little stream of warm water until the poop softens up and comes off. A little baby oil on a Q-Tip works well too. Make sure she is dried off and doesn't get chilled.

Good news guys she's doing great!!! Her butt is fine she's so active and getting better every day!
