Baby chick huddles with head down, head shakes side to side every few seconds as if it was slamming its head into the carrier box

So today my partner and I randomly had the wild hair up our ass syndrome and decided to purchase 6 baby chicks from rural king. Mind you we’ve NEVER raised a single one before, nor have the knowledge on taking care of them. As we we driving I kept hearing a sporadic tapping noise on the box they came in. Well I opened up the box and notice that only one kept shaking its head
repeatedly against the box. I’ve read every article and it’s so hard to try and become a webMD. Any clues or advice. I hope it’s treatable! I don’t wanna wake up to a deceased baby chick

Likely trying to clear its sinuses.
Did you make sure it's legal for you to have chickens? Do you need information on chick care and coop building? Don't be tempted to by a prefab, they're nothing but heartache and waste.

Yes we live in Ohio in the country. The age of them range btween 2-12 weeks old. I’m putting them in a long 55 gallon fish tank. i bought a new heat bulb of 250 watts red bulb. The guy at rural king told us to buy BECKS BETTER BEDDING & for feed we were pointed towards COUNTRY ROAD chick starter-grower “medicated”

If it looks looks like a neurological issue, You might try rooster booster or an electrolyte chick starter in their water and unmedicated feed.
The medicated feed helps prevent a Protozoa that causes diarrhea called coccidiosis but it blocks vitamin B. Low vitamin B can cause neurological issues and developmental issues like spry neck.

Here is a really cool lady that helped me learn more about chicks than ever.

They really are the easiest animal to raise. They have quickly become my favorite pets. Chickens arent dumb and are capable of bonding relationships.

Best wishes!
