I have a 11 day old chick I got from Farm n Fleet that is smaller than her siblings and not flying around. She just sits in my hand where the others try to get away.
I put some electrolytes in their water and saw her drink some but she's mainly hanging out under the heater.
Felt her crop, not sure but it felt fine, no pasty butt.
I m a bit concerned. Not using medicated feed.
She just sits around. I only first noticed this after church this morning.

When she does walk, does she limp?

Could. you take a picture of it? Picture of it's poop & brooder set up.
If it's preferring to be under the heater, and held in your hand, it's cold/chilled.
Is it weak? Lethargic?

What are you feeding? Have you seen it eat/drink water?
The crop should be full in the evening, empty in the morning ... Has it been eating?
Have you seen the others being "bullies"? Preventing it from eating .... How many do you have? Are they all the same breed?

You may have to help this one along; boiled egg yolk mixed with it feed making a mash & feed it separately so it doesn't get bothered, then put it back with the rest. You may have to help it, tap with you finger at the food. IF the others are bigger, picking on this one, you may need to put it in a small clear container for its safety. Put the container in the brooder so it can be part of the flock but it needs warmth. What are you using for heating?

Can't tell which is it's poop. I have 3 Buff Orpingtons and one Easter Egger. They don't bully her, haven't seen it. She has been eating and drinking fine up until today. I did see her drink a bit a little while ago tho. I have a Producers Pride flat heater.

What is her breed?
If she's been fine until today, it's very possible she's having an off day. Is the weather cooler than usual? Keep an eye on her ... What are you feeding them? As long as it's eating/drinking/pooping just keep a close eye, but liking being in your hand & under the heat means it's cold/chilled.

The breed is Buff Orpington. Weather is warm today 60*. Heat on house is on so there's plenty of heat.
Their food is Flock Party for chicks non- medicated.

I tried to video her sitting on a blanket but can't post it. She appears to be breathing heavily.

I'm so sad. Every morning I look to see if this baby chick has survived the night and she has. I don't know how much longer she can tho. She isn't eating that I can see or drinking. She's not growing either. She just sits under the heater. I don't know what to do for her. I've tried to give her mashed egg yoke but she won't touch it. Help!
