Baby chick missing bottom beak

In a few days, you will know what will be the best thing for this chick. You can do what you can to help it adapt, and it will or it won't. I think it's great that you're giving it a chance and are willing to face what needs to be done if things don't work out. Rooting for you two!:fl:fl

Rooting for y’all! I hope she/he can make it into adulthood! I have a hen who lost her bottom beak almost 3 months ago and she eventually has learned to eat wet feed on her own in a deep bowl! She uses her tongue a lot. I hope you can get her/him to eat.

Encouraging! :clap

Checking in for the chick. You got me off on this tangent wondering if I commandeered the 3D printer at work whether or not I could print her a lower beak, but who knows what a vet would say for affixing it to what little of a jaw she has?
