I went and checked on my baby chicks this morning and one of them was just laying there and she wasnt moving. i gave her some water and she drank some. i checked her butt and she had poop stuck to it so i gently but quickly cleaned it off. i gave her some watered down honey and some watered down corn syrup. I read on this site that they like the corn syrup and the honey will get their systems moving.. help she is the only one i have like her and i dont want to lose her
all my baby chicks are a few days over a month old. she is laying under the light with her feathers a little fluffed out.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
