I was wondering if you got her from a place where she might have been handled a lot, and possibly dropped, squeezed or otherwise injured. The hiccupping sounds like a pain response to me but I am just guessing. Maybe @Eggcessive or @ChickenCanoe would be kind enough to check in.
It's more of a panting than a hiccup now? She can barely hold her head up, occasionally she'll perk up a little but definitely not improving enough for me to not worry. I don't think she was jostled around much..I got her from a small local hatchery.
