...She arrived much smaller and weaker than the rest, and despite giving her electrolytes, Nutri-Drench, egg yolk, warmth, and lots of love, she passed away.

She just never quite perked up like the others—lethargic, withdrawn, and not eating or drinking much on her own. It breaks my heart. ...

I agree with what ChickenChick said above: it sounds like this one was failure to thrive and would never have made it, or if it did, would always be tiny and have problems.

I'm sorry you lost her. I wish you good luck with the others!

Thank you so much for saying that. I really tried my best nurturing her and feeding her with a syringe every hour or so to keep her hydrated. I even installed a camera to be able to watch her 24/7. She seemed withdrawn the whole time.
