Cute fuzzies everyone!! My husband is a true enabler..I have a 10x10 brooding room with 8 huge rubbermaid tubs only have chicks in 5...one tub has 2. Four week olds almost ready to go out . 2 tubs have meaties cornish x ,and white cornish.. one tub has 13 slw, and one tub has 25 bantams..oh and he bought me a 48 egg incubator which he promply set up filled with water and saved eggs for me to test it. Hmm chicken math I think I have 60 chicks..7 eggs set and grown fowl.

Well the meaties are destined for freezer camp..so there goes 20. Slw there 1 5 cockrels 3 of them are freezer bound.. 6 silkies are safe. Any extra cockrel bantams will be given away or freezer bound also. so out of. 60...long term I will be keeping 20 to 25 mostly bantam size. the meaties will be gone in 6 to 9 more weeks. I will hatch chicks to take to my local farm auction even if I get. 50.cents each It pays for feed.

I was supposed to get more chickens today but the feed store doesn't have the right breed I already have names for them, it will be, Rose,Gracie,Scarlet, and Simba
