    She is so cute!! My frizzle is a rooster and he looked just like that, I also have a silkie and I am getting 4 more chickens soon!

    Finally after almost a week I got a picture of all the chicks. If anyone knows what they may be please let me know. They were a mixture of eggs.[​IMG][/IMG]

    One of them looks like it could be a frizzle, and another is maybe a white leghorn

    had this hen for three months. she was given to us by a friend.
    she had 17 eggs when she went broody and tried to incubate all of them exactly as she is doing with her chicks, with her wings spread out to try to cover them all up.
    in the end I only let her keep a dozen and at the time of writing this there are 7 out of 12 hatched.
    that little red guy there is hers and his dad is a black silkie, but he only inherited some black blotches and fuzzy feet. he should have five more brothers/sisters as the only eggs left are from the hen, the others where silver laced wyandotte mixes.

    i'll take more pictures when all of them have hatched.
