I'm not overly familiar with agway, but the "ameraucana" chicks I purchased at Orschelns a few years back turned out to be easter egger mutts instead. I only found out later that most of the "ameraucanas" stores sell are actually EE's.

I wouldn't trade them in for anything, though. My EE's are the best chickens I've ever had, and I've actually been focusing on hatching out their eggs when I put eggs into my incubator.

I'm totally in love with my new Ameraucaunas! I have had comets, and red, now just picked up Barred Rocks and Ameraucaunas! Love the face!!!!

She looks like she has Cleopatra eyeliner. So pretty!

Awww so sweet!! Love seeing kids learning to handle them and care for them!

My daughter has the handling thing down...we are still working on my son. He just loves them and he gets way too excited. He is getting better..slowly.
