Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

does anyone know where i can buy the vaccines for chicks or how to give it to them. Is it in the form of liquid, food, shots, or what?

They are just precious! Great pics! What kinds are they?

I've tried to edit my signature to include their breeds but I keep getting an error "You are not permitted to edit this signature." Anyone know why?

We have one of each: Rhode Island Red (1 day old), Buff Orpington (1 day old), Blue Cochin (1 day old), Ameraucana (1 week old), Dominique (1 week old), Light Brahma (1 week old). We had two Dominique's too start but lost one after a couple of days. Very sudden and rapid decline in health, it was so sad :(

Just picked up my 6 Heritage American Dominique's today...we are all tired and babies are sleeping quite a bit. Got a couple shots, but with their red light, the pic's aren't very good, but here they are. They come from one of our very own BYC breeders, vnsseed. You should check out their page...couldn't ask for more, great customer service, great people...had a great talk with his wife!

I'll get some better pictures tomorrow when they are awake and it's daylight. They are pretty tired from the long drive. Thanks vnsseed and family for everything. I couldn't be more happy with everything!

Oh dear. I came home with four more chicks today! There was an Easter Egger that was chasing me when I walked past the bin, so I had to bring her home, then they actually had leghorns, so I grabbed three of those. I'll get pics later.

Chicks are 5 1/2 weeks old. Any guesses as how many hens I got?

The EE pullet I bought today. She's so fluffy you almost can't see her eyes.

One of the Jersey Giants I bought Tuesday. It was the smallest chick in the brooder, so it's either a runt, or an Australorp that got mixed up. I don't care either way, because she's outgoing and fierce.

The Jersey "Giant" is dwarfed by the Easter Egger

My first ever leghorns! I've been trying for a while to get some, so I'm excited.
