Maybe stressed out.. It happens when chicks are adjusting to new homes.My EEs are already escape artists at 3 days! Always trying to hop out.
Sadly the little gal I took the photo of died last night. I don't know why, she seemed fine when she arrived but all day yesterday seemed really sleepy and lethargic.
Awh. Mine stayed in the coop all day today because it's warm. They were very happy.I moved my older chicks out into the coop last night. But then I also have 10 more babies that are only a week old, so yeah...They'll be in that separated area for about a week while the older chickens get used to them. And while I put up chicken wire along the bottom of the fence on the extension. The tiny one at the front on the left can easily just walk through the 2x4 welded wire fence. She is tiny!
