Hello guys!

Well, i'm gutted because the neighbors cat got in and ate all my chicks! My husband said he doesn't have the gun or he'd shoot it. But it's not the cat's fault, that's what cats do. It's my fault for not protecting them properly. And we don't want to start anything with these neighbors, we hear the husband beating up his wife all the time, they're crazy and we don't speak with them.

But my friend bought two other chicks when we were at the market last week and she's gave them to me (that was her intentions anyway) and I'm going to get more from the market again later. This time i'm not leaving them unsupervised in the garden!!

So here are my two new chicks. These ones are 10 days old.

I feel your pain. Had a chick spend few hours hatching. Moved it to the brooder in the garage (had to open the door to get around truck). Went in the house to get the kids and came back to an empty brooder. I our cat is the queen mouser and birds are a delicacy.
