My broody hens egg was hatching yesterday. Just one egg and it had half of the shell broken but the membrane had only one puncture in it. I believe the hen didn't give it enough moisture and unfortunately this morning I found it dead in its shell. Well, there are two more eggs that could hatch.

My 5 baby chicks arrived yesterday morning! Here's a few pics. I have two BO, two SLW, and one EE. One of the two SLW is very skittish so I wasn't able to get her picture out of the brooder yesterday. All the others seemed content to sit and snuggle in my hand. They are so cute and so much fun to watch!!
