might be a red star then, the red stars are now 12 days old. I'm new so i cant really tell for sure if yours is a red star or rhode island red. but a red star is just a cross from a rhode island red, so pretty much the same thing. I think red stars might be calmer?

theres so much to learn about these lil chicks they change color and form almost every day lol i have 8 chicks 11 weeks old and 2 ducks the same age then i have 6 of these lil babies all am told at tsc is straight run chics so its a guessing game to me

my SS's are straight run from TSC. Think one might be a pullet and other a roo, but wont be able to tell for sure for a few more weeks..

i have 1of 6 that the comb is slightly pinker than the rest and a lil larger so im keeping an eye on that one i really want all hens but one roo for 14 chickens wont b so bad if it turns out to b a roo

yeah, I actually want a roo. good for keeping an eye on the hens when free ranging and also breeding
