Thanks I think she isn't EE her mom lays tan eggs. the dad was the frizzle. she hatched these chicks they are not hers.

good point. I have other frizzles not by that dad that also had green eggs.


below is the son of that frizzle he was not frizzle-y no beard but he did have puffy cheeks.

I had hatched out 9 chicks just to see what I would get (barnyard mix) about 2 months ago. Then about 1 month ago I hatched out 13 chicks for our Homestead Festival, but no one was interested in chickens/chicks (I had 4 month olds as well). Now I have two broodies that made nests outside of the pen, so I have to let them finish hatching their eggs. The golden Sebright, Nessa, has 10 eggs, some should hatch in the next day or two. The "Thai Gamefowl"/Sumatra, Rin, has 14 eggs, though only 12 may be fertile.

Chick overload... Don't have pics at the moment.

Oh wait! I heard peeping under Nessa! Will have at least one baby soon.

cool! I have 3 I put under broody- weather turned cold so now they are on day 12 in incubator.
