She has a bit of polish, note the smallish top-knot but my guess is mostly cochin and maybe some EE. All my chickens are mutts. That makes for a most interesting and varied look to them all.
Im just so glad that the hatchlings are apparently normal. I was so worried since they took so long to hatch.

After 0% hatch of mailed Serama eggs I've set a total of 33 eggs of my personal Serama flock as soon as they started laying. I went to lockdown last night with first set of 10 viable eggs, this morning I had first pip and first little peep hatched about an hour ago, they aren't due till the 13th but this little Buggar wanted out....lol... Better yet this eggs are set on a full size fridge bator I built

... Not bad for a newbie. 9 more eggs to go and second lockdown starts on the 14th for 4 eggs and keeps on going on lockdowns every four days as i set eggs 4 to 5 days apart of my seramas and silkies.

I'm getting chicks in spring to start my own "mongrel" flock! So excited.

Here is some updated pictures of this years chicks. I ended up with 3 SLW, 4 Welsummer, 3 Exchequer leghorns one cockerel, 3 barred rock, 3 RIR 1 pullet 2 cockerels, 2 Cream legbar 1 of each sex, 1 Brown leghorn, 3 Australorp, 2 Buff Orpington 1 each sex, and a BCM pullet.These chicks flock (hehe) to the camera, they love to get their picture taken.

Later hatch of the late hatch babies. This is a very special one. It came from a pair of my favorites, Rockie, (frizzle cochin) and Bunky (straight feathered, Blue Faverolle X Cochin)
Im anxious to see if it is frizzle or straight when it starts feathering out.
