My first brood hatched by "mom". 7 of 10 eggs hatched.

We are integrating them with the Isa browns while they are all young. Does any one think it wise to separate them at night when we won't be watching them?

The folgers coffee can-how is that working out?

So cute!

...How did you get a clear pic? My quail refuse to stay still long enough for pictures

Unless you have an iPhone 6+ or Galaxy S6/S7, your phone camera probably won't get it. Even then you're pushing the technology. It's not about Mega Pixels it's about aperature and shutter speed. The other thing many camera phones do is pause before actually taking the pic (gathering light). That pause is way too long jittery fowl.

You need a "real" camera that can make shutter speed 1/125 or 1/250 and a lens that will gather enough light to make that picture bright. USUALLY a DSLR will have a manual mode and automatic mode. They're fine on automatic or sports mode works well.

What kind of baby is this? She is roughly just shy of 6 week. We have barred rocks, silkie's, and RIR's. Just don't know about this breed. She is very creamed color and we have 3 of them. This breed seems the most skidish then the other breeds

Here's another photo
