A couple of little Silkies I hatched yesterday.




More to come..a LF NN, and a little one that came out with
a NN, that has 5 toes, and feathered feet, because it was a
Silkie mom...so, a first generation showgirl. Two colored,
grey and white.

I am brand new to chickens and received my first batch today. This is Stella - I think she's a Barred Plymouth Rock? The rest are black stars and they are not very photogenic so far!

This is Steve. He was a little chick that the store was going to kill if i didnt thake him, so i had to. He is so sweet right now. His favorite place to sleep is in my pocket, the other chicks pick on him so every time their out he comes over to sleep on me.

Hey..kynewb...what is that baby in your Avatar? I have a cute little Japaneses baby that looks like that. She is soo tiny! I keep wondering if she is growing. She is two weeks old here pretty quick..so tiny!

On my DH's computer desk, this is his finger in front of her. I can't imagine how
small she will be!

Cute baby Aussie, mine is a Japanese bantam. )
I was asking if Steve's avatar was a Japanese. But then I looked at his pictures up close, and could see it was an Aussie. Similar in colors when they are babies, but not even half the size! Tiny.
