I'll be posting more of my 8 1wk olds (SLW's and LORPS) and some new of the 8 day olds (BO's and EE's) this weekend, but until then I had to share:

We've been keeping a close watch on the SLW's and LORP's feathering out, and only one LORP is feathering slowly. Everyone else is getting their tail feathers and flight feathers quick. If we managed to get 7/9 hens our first time around with chickens, I'm going to be shocked. I'll keep everybody posted.

Because he went out to the lady's car and her and the other one couldn't be put back with the other chicks as not to spread anything to the other chicks.

I'm sorry to tell everyone this but Steve and his 3 other brothers are no longer with us. Our garage caught on fire. The wind blew the fire back o the coop and took out the coop with the chicks.
