Because he went out to the lady's car and her and the other one couldn't be put back with the other chicks as not to spread anything to the other chicks.

I'm sorry to tell everyone this but Steve and his 3 other brothers are no longer with us. Our garage caught on fire. The wind blew the fire back o the coop and took out the coop with the chicks.

Cute baby Aussie, mine is a Japanese bantam. )
I was asking if Steve's avatar was a Japanese. But then I looked at his pictures up close, and could see it was an Aussie. Similar in colors when they are babies, but not even half the size! Tiny.

I'll post more photos later today/this evening - wound up getting some Ameraucanas and other golden/light yellow chicks (supposedly Golden Comet/Buff Orpington possibly) from the local True Value store earlier this week. My Aussies and BGs are growing like crazy! They're flying around and up on top of feeders, waterers, and now - the Flock Block I put in last night

It's the same 50 gallon container with heat water and feed. The warm side.there are 26 total in there.
