What darling pictures! All baby chicks..too cute!

Here is a picture I set up for the Hatch A Long contest. A few of my babies..couldn't get them all in, so I picked a few. A Welsummer, a couple of Olive Eggers, and a Blue Barred Rock.

Do the Barred Rocks/aka Black Astrolorps look like our Barred Rock? I believe Barred Rocks have a white spot on top of their heads, and yours look like they have that.

Yes, they did have a white spot on head and now their feathers are getting the "bars". So I do have 2 Barred Rocks after all.

Our new chick sunny we got her out of a mixed pullet bin...what do you think she is? White leghorn? They replaced our red star teriyaki with sunny. We woke up Easter morning and Terri had passed. No sign of sickness. But welcome sunny
