Finally put my little ones out with my big girls. They learned what rain was today. It was hilarious

And introducing my new baybays

My little ones are four days old now, and I've moved from the plastic storage tote "kindergarten" brooder into the bigger one:




They seem to get a kick out of pecking at the cd and the plastic egg, and one of them likes to peck at the cat ball and make it jingle.






The only area that's not sand is the bin they sleep in, that has a good layer of pine shavings. They sometimes burrow under the penguin's wings, lol,




Nap time.




Their food, water, and more stuff to peck at and chase around.

I am sad, my baby girl is graduating high school and my baby chicks moved out to the coop today. No more babies.

I just got mine today!!! I'll post pictures later but the chicks are sleeping

they are so cute! We have 2 buff orpingtons and 2 blue splash marans in this order. The marans don't really like me, YET! just wait till they learn who feeds them. But the buffs feel asleep on my chest... it was so cute. They really are sweet. Are the marans usually like this? they are really cute, too I want to snuggle with them ALL. But I really want the marans to like me but it is just the first day.
