a small batch from last year that our big momma raised.
She's just gone clucky again so today we went out and bought twelve fertile eggs, looking forward to some more babies!

funny, several people have asked me that...my barred rocks have different colored feet too, so it is very possible...





haven't researched the different sex traits yet...took these yesterday (4 weeks old), the top is the more aggressive, inquisitive and friendly, so I am thinking yes, she could be a he...

I find that interesting because the combs are so small, but the coloring is nothing less than a roo. I think it's a she, but nobody can be sure as it's still very questionable.

Lucky my heelers is ok with them she just rounds them up but my husky/lab/pointer is a chicken killer I've lost 3 to her
