I got these two bantam assorted chicks from the feed store over the weekend. The lady was guessing the darker one could possibly be a Mille Fleur d'Uccle. I would like to know everyone’s opinions even though they are both still too young to probably tell what breed exactly. Both have feather feet and are super sweet and obviously cute 😍🥰

It's a lot easier to tell once the feathers come in but you got the best possible answer from someone who knows what they are talking about. Post again if they look like something else in a month.

I agree that they both look like Belgian d'Uccles, wonderful birds!
Some can be sexed at three to four weeks of age, so post more pictures then!
Also, find out what hatchery they came from, look up their website, and sort out who you have from that information.

When do you think I’ll be able to tell for sure?
The darker one already has little Millie fluer feathers coming in on the wings, and the other is the color of porcelain, so I'm pretty sure. As far as sexing if they are males they will get a pink comb by 5-6 weeks, and females will remain orange for a bit longer, so they are fairly easy to sex by that age.
