Lucy & Rosie @ almost 1 month.
They have changed so much! I can barely tell them apart anymore

I love this fluffy butt!

When I first got the girls they would play & jump through the handle of that mug.

The coop is still in the process (hence the scrap wood) but I let them roam for about an hour in the afternoon and they love it.
It still needs a section of fencing on the very top portion of the back of it & their nesting boxes assembled.

Here's the duo just a couple weeks ago.

I should have put ties on them before they're feathers came in but there was such a distinct color difference when they were still fuzzy.

And this pretty much sums up their relationship still.
(Rosie messing with Lucy)

Lucy was keeping warm next to my tea & Rosie just came up and ran right under her tipping her over

They are so silly to just sit back and watch

Got the new chicks today. First time for chickens. We said not in the house, it was really cold outside, so they are in the mud room. My son found them a worm they had a blast with it. Dogs are interested, laying there watching. We haven't gotten a thing done today. Son, "we have the smartest chickens ever"! Fun day.

I'm just teasing..I couldn't resist. I saw the photo above this one of the dog belly up. Must be a sweetheart. I love, love, big dogs! Cute photo. :)

Believe me he would gulp down just about anything when he was a pup, it was a challenge to keep him fed up at times he was growing so fast and big, he tried to gulp down a kitten my daughter was putting down, he thought it was something to eat.. but alas he grew into a wonderful guardian.

Welcome! Aren't chicks great? What kind did you get? It's okay that they're not in the house I suppose, it just worries me that they're receiving adequate heat. Best of luck, and mostly enjoy!
