Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

That's t
i shouldn't have to play guess I ordered mine from cackle breed specific...but one is wrong they even came marked because i had requested it...i have 2 kinds of cochins, black silkies, EE, and buff brahma bantams 5 of each kind except my partridge cochins an extra died in shipping and one was crazy about shavings even would dig under the paper towels to get to them it died it couldn't poop them out ...this little guy must have been hatched in the wrong tray or as cackle put it jumped the hatching tray divider...he is small and noisey..i say he because the only one developing and coloring where combs will be. Hasn't been my week hatchery is kind of like umm well he is black that narrows it down some...Cackle sells a huge selection of bantams. I received some shipped eggs with a clear boot pr shoe print on the top they were about half broke.

That's terrible! I'm sorry you are having a rough start to this chicken year!!

Unknown banties first. My digital camera doesn't take very good pics. And of course "permanent" names are in hopes of females.

Itty Bitty (temp name):

Smudge (temp name):

Drizzle (temp name):

And the ones I know the breed of.

Camille (Sicilian Buttercup):

Nadia (Sumatra):

Danny/Danielle (Brown Leghorn; extra dark, used flash on some pics)

And Reina (Silver Laced Wyandotte; used flash on some pics)

I have an bantam EE feathered like your first one if the wings are straw colored couldn't tell if it was that or light grey..

They're mostly light grey, but there is a slight tint of tan closest to the body. But there is no muff or beard or anything. And I thought EE had darker legs.

I think the first two might be OEG.

you never know with a EE.i have 5 bantam 1 has yellow legs 2 have greyish legs 2 have dark legs at 3 weeks...i couple have the beards..one doesn't at all.. that is why they are EE not listed as a purebred...i have some LF EE also but hubby brought them home a day ago( like the 50 chicks and 3 ducks i have aren't enough) He has the bad chicken math . bantams he could eat 2 or three so three only count as one for every three and the meaties don't count at all.but I am the one who cleans the brooders all 5, and 2- 6 foot kiddy pools that the meaties and ducks are in... been watching their butts more than their feet..

probably what it is then..or at least good chance ..guessing is always fun ihave one oof those it was put in with ones i ordered and even marked but even the hatchery has no idea they sell over 50 kinds of bantams..i even emailed pictures

Yeah, I got mine from a feed store, so the hatchery really doesn't care what goes in the assortment. They don't even give the store a general idea of what is in there. But I love the banty lottery.

Pics to come of our new buff orpingtons later today :)

I didn't realize our SLWs had grown so much already...The buffs are so tiny compared to them.
