If EE's are what you love, by all means, get EE's. I have over 30 different breeds in my flock and countless mutts, while other people have flocks consisting entirely of a single breed that suits their needs perfectly. It's all about your personal preference.
These are Sophia (Easter Egger) and Bianca (white Leghorn). They've become best friends. They're seldom far apart and they can often be seen sleeping near each other or preening each other. It's kinda adorable.
Lap-chickens! That little Barred Rock is my aunt's chick; both her BRs are very friendly and will hop up into my lap as soon as I get into the pen with them. The other black one next to me is my Black Star sex-link, and she'll get in my lap, but won't let me touch her.
Adopted chicks from an awesome local breeder for my broody BO. All hatched 3 days ago. We gave her 9 chicks and she's being a sweet Mama.

CHICKENS. THAT'S WHY I PUT THE TV REMOTE IN THE
PICTURE WITH THEM...SO YOU COULD GAUGE HOW
TINY THEY TRULY ARE AT 3 WEEKS OF AGE (that, and
because they told me they wanted to watch the Farm Report at 6 p.m.)
ALL 4 OF THEM COULD EASILY HAVE FIT ON THAT ONE
REMOTE (with room to spare I might add !!!) AND THEY'RE
ALREADY THREE WEEKS OLD, BUT STILL SMALLER THAN
A COMMON HOUSE FINCH !!!
WE HAVE PIPER, STANDING ON THE MOST IMPORTANT
CONTROL BUTTON...THE 'SELECT' BUTTON. PENGUIN
HAS HIS BACK TO US AND THE TWO BIRDS ON THE RIGHT
ARE HARPER (who you can see) and JASPER (who's behind Harper)
UH OH...WATCH OUT !!! THREE BLOND CHICKS AND AN
ELECTRONIC GIZMO...(If you look carefully, you can almost
see the gears in their little heads just a spinning can't you !!!)
FROM THE FRONT LEFT TO THE RIGHT, IT GOES... PIPER,JASPER'S FOREHEAD AND BEAK AND THEN HARPER, the first born !!!
