Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

It is sad, but there are a lot of people that do not think that chickens have ..... well...... identities. They like to think of them as mindless things not living breathing THINKING beings.
I know what you mean. Some people, unfortunately most people I've met, think that chickens are stupid, however, some are much smarter than dogs... (No offense to my Standard Poodle!!!)
 
Got this bearded Silkie 2 days ago (he's quarantining in my spair bathroom). 6 months and absolutely stunning!

Yeah, and I feel terrible for the turkeys, people just see them as a food source, so more turkeys die for Thanksgiving than any other animal:'(

It's not possible for me, I even feel bad when there's a worm on the porch, I feel bad enough to pick it up and select a safe patch of grass/dirt to put it in.:P

These are from our first incubator hatch. They all have a Barnevelder daddy & an assortment of mommies. Two of the light ones are from a Cuckoo Maran, so we were surprised they're so light with such dark parents.

Yeah, I think Cleopatra is pretty smart, either that or she's a diva, she knows where to look to get the perfect picture!:P

He's so FLUFFY OMG.

Oh thank goodness I am not the only worm rescuer out here.
