@TysonDSMIowa I can't wait to get mine either, but I do have a ton I still need to do to prepare! I'm building a new brooder out of a repurposed set of drawers. I don't think it will take me more than a day to get the construction done, but I do want to paint it. I'm thinking a bright and sunny yellow with white trim. I'll post photos when its done!

I do too, I won't be getting chicken for at least a year or so. I am buying a portion of property the joins my backyard and build a coop with a 12x6 run on it.

Just got my first babies! Black Australorps from Meyer. Soooo cute! Especially that they get sleepy and sometimes just face plant from standing up. And the girl looking at the camera is already a character, she wants to check out everything and is so confident. I'm in love!

Oh my goodness what pretty babies! I just ordered some chicks and one of them will be a Black Astralorp! If you found the time to post more photos, no one would be terribly upset!
