Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

Definitely one of my favorite chicks. As you can see, my little ee is still a baby, but I have big plans for her in the breeding sense :3
I plan on crossing an EE to one of my giant Cochins, in hopes to get an olive egger. I know they don't have THAT dark of brown egg, but I hope it will still work! Oooh, and imagine a silkie feathered EE!

Are those cedar shavings? If so, I would recommend switching to pine, cedar can be bad for them

I have a boy ee who I'm going to put over my Welsummer for an olive egg. I'm also tasked with trying to recreate his color pattern...
As for my little Cleo, She'll get put with one of my Ayam boys in attempts to make a fibro easter chick. I'm also going to put my ayam over my buff orpington to try and get a golden black skinned bird. I would love to see more silkie birds, especially if they're bigger and not as... fluffy lol.

Haha lol some giant Silkies would be awesome! I'll probably cross my paint boy to one, I think he could manage it...lol! An Ayam EE would be amazing!
And ooh...wait for it...Serama EE!

Speaking of Seramas, here's four of my babies...

These pictures are from 4 months ago those chicks are outside in their coop. I didn't have any problems with cedar shavings
Oh okay, I've never used them and am not sure if it's even true. I used them with my guinea pig for years when I was a kid and never had problems

Yeah before I got the chicks I read that cedar shavings were bad but I had already bought the shavings. But they didn't seem to mind the cedar.

I keep a pair of EE's crossed with bantam Cochin from my hatchlings this year. The hen took the broodyness of the Cochin and lays a nice green (light olive) coloring.
