Cool cool, thanks for the heads up. I only wish I knew exactly how old they were so I would know when to start expecting some eggs from them.

I have heard that their combs will start turning red generally around the time that they will start laying.

Araucanas and Ameraucanas are pure breeds. An Easter Egger is a particular kind of mixed breed. To make it complicated, hatcheries and farm stores call EEs Americaunas 99.9% of the time. EEs are wonderful birds though. I've got quite a few chicks.

I watched a video by Murry McMurry saying Americuana is the mixed breed of an Aracuna and essentially the same thing as an EE. I think what I got from My Pet chicken for hatching eggs where marked EB for Bearded Easter Egger. Now I'm all confused by I love them. One is tailless, 2 look like Hawks, one is white and one is a buff. They are 3 weeks and have 2/3 feathered out!

Not quite accurate. Ameraucanas were derived from Araucanas, but they were admitted to the American Standard of Perfection as their own breed about 30 years or so ago. They are always specific colors (e.g. Wheaten Americauna, Black Ameraucana, etc.) and always lay blue eggs.
