Baby chick roosting with Mommies.

Yes, I said Mommies. Both the Serama hens think they are the mother and both take care of the baby chick. I thought something had gotten the baby until I noticed it sticking out from under the momma. So that shows you that babies can roost too.

I thought one of my doxies had gotten the chick when I saw them roosting, until I looked closer and saw the chick.

I couldn't believe it had flown up there too. It's only about two feet up but I thought that was a lot for a little chick.
 
The baby is kinda interesting. On one side she has a black wing and on the other side it's a mix of brown and white.
