baby chick sick?

My baby chick is suddenly sluggish, sleeping more than usual. She will eat, but she doesn’t drink much. She is usually lively, but today and yesterday she isn’t, and now she has bald spots under her eyes, much like another chick we had that passed days ago. Her behavior is resembling that of the deceased chick.

Sorry to hear about your chick do you have other chicks? How are they doing?

How do the poops look, any blood in them? Any other chicks showing similar signs? Are the chicks vaccinated for coccidiosis/are you feeding medicated feed? If no on both of those, might want to get some Corid and do a round of treatment for coccidiosis.

If you don't suspect it's coccidiosis, at least get some Poultry Nutri-Drench and direct dose her with a few drops to help perk her up in the short term.

Yes, sadly my sick one passed shortly after I posted that, but the others are completely healthy and they are getting big fast.
