Baby chick that seems to be constipated??

Hi again all. I have a baby chick that seems to NOT be going to the bath room. Seems to be straining?? He had the pasty butt and I soaked him in warm water and cleaned it all off.... BUT there is still stuff in him and it is SLOOOOLY coming out. I am giving him yogurt with his feed that is medicated and I added a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar to the water. Is there anything else I can give him to get him to get it out?? I got quite a bit out, but it keeps coming and is very solid and grainy... any suggestions would be great. Sorry if it is to graphic or gross, not sure how to explain it any other way.

a little bit of molasses in water, instead of vinegar, might help loosen things up.
also..a little oil in and around the vent might make it easier to clean out and for him to pass the droppings.

this can be very serious, so getting him cleared ASAP is important.

others might have suggestions.

I've used olive oil, dropped on the vent and massaged in if necessary - and the chick passed the backed up poo immediately. You can also give it a drop or two of olive oil by beak to help lube it up.
