Baby Chick Under Deck

Hello. I recently was homed two baby chicks. Unfortunately, they both got under my back patio/deck yesterday. It is approximately 5-7 inches off the ground so I am unable to get under. I have provided water, a small "pool", and feed to try and lure them out. Are there any other recommendations? Please help!

I’m sure someone more experienced will chime in but otherwise I would plug a heat lamp just outside the deck (where they can see it but also where you can grab them). They will gravitate toward the heat and then you should be able to pick them up and move them to a safe place.

I hope that this was already resolved, but when escaped chickens got under my shed last year I enlisted family members with long poles to gently herd them out into a place where someone could get hold of them.

Still have not gotten them out... Yesterday I slid a long piece of wood under with a trail of feed on it. So hopefully that will lead them out. I will check when I am off work today. Fingers crossed!!
